How can we help?
Ingredients & origin
What does “natural” mean exactly? Does this also mean natural sugars?
It’s simple really. It means we never add anything to our products that’s not found in nature. This means no preservatives, no colourants and no artificial flavours.
We also only use unrefined natural sugars in all our sauces and condiments.
Is everything you make certified organic?
Yes, our entire range is 100% certified organic.
What about Vegan & Gluten-free?
Jup, everything we do is also both vegan and Gluten-free!
Are your sauces and condiments healthy?
We believe health comes from nutritional and environmental balance, which means a wholesome diet full of whole seasonal natural foods.
We are not a diet or zero-calorie brand as most “Light” food is both ultra-processed and full of additives, which are things we do not consider healthy.
Where are your sauces made?
We make all our sauces in small batches by hand in our workshop in Laarne Belgium.
Storage, taste and looks
Do I need to store your products in the fridge?
All our products are pantry stable unopened for 1 year. After opening, they will need to be put in the fridge and will last for a minimum of 3 months when stored properly.
My ketchup or hot sauce has gotten a little bit darker after being open for a long time, SHOULD I PANIC???
No you should not, as everything we do is 100% natural, a little discolouration can happen after some time. This will not affect the quality or taste of the sauce!
Why can there sometimes be a little water/liquid on top of my ketchup?
A little water separation can happen from time to time if the pectin in the tomatoes has broken down after cooking and chilling. This is completely normal and a byproduct of natural preservation methods, so no need to worry!
Shipping and delivery
How will my order be shipped?
We pack all our bottles in a fully compostable type of paper bubblewrap for maximum safety and minimum environmental impact.
When will my order be delivered?
We try to make sure your order is delivered within 3 business days. You will receive a track and trace code upon checkout.
What if my order arrives damaged?
This really shouldn’t happen, but if it does, please use the contact form on our contact page to get in touch and we’ll get you sorted!
Where do you ship to?
At the moment we ship only to Belgian addresses, we will be adding The Netherlands soon, so keep an eye out for that via our socials!
What does your return policy look like?
All Heirloom products are perishable food items, which means that we cannot accept returns. If there are any problems however concerning the quality or integrity of your order, please contact us and we will of course find a solution!
